Ubuntu is an African philosophy that derives from South Africa. The isiZulu word directly translates to 'a person is a person because of other people'. Over the years the philosophy has influenced how community has shaped, with the belief and way of life that emphasises co-operation, compassion, kindness and humanity towards each other.

UBUNTU GLOBAL works alongside individuals and communities through relational movements towards a world where poverty is not a prison, but where freedom and hope shine greater. Poverty has power, but we dream of a world where poverty is the power that positively changes our global community to be one, to be ubuntu.

We are bridge builders, bridging the gap between all conceptulisms of poverty that have stricken our people - Financial, opportunistic, emotional and mental. UBUNTU GLOBAL indentifies need and provides practical, creative, authentic and sustainable strategy that empowers and develops each individual so that they can go and share ubuntu in the world.  We recognise the power in what has already been established; partnering with local bodies, developing skill sets and ensuring relational development is at the core of all our work.

Community, citizenship, justice and freedom are lifes essentials.

The rising generation is the largest, loudest and most powerful generation yet, so we want to be a part of them!

A PERSON IS A PERSON BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE

Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names.
